Fans on your patio cover adds comfort to your outdoor living space. If you intend to add fans and/or lighting to your project plan, please be sure to purchase an outdoor damp or wet rated outdoor ceiling fan(s) Also, when ordering roof material be sure to include fan beams. “Fan Beams” are an optional for insulated, it’s a 1.5”x2.5” extruded integrated aluminum raceway in which serves as support for ceiling fans and accommodates an electrical conduit to run wires for the fan and/or led lighting. For non-insulated, it’s a 2X2 extruded square tube in which serves the same functions however, you must include a fan beam cover…for led lights, you only need to use fan beam cap covers to protect the lighting wire from the elements and water intrusion.
Recessed or flush mount lighting may be added to patio cover project. Led lights can be added to both insulated and non insulated patio cover kits. Must be cut into roof panels upon installation These lights can be purchased our accessories page upon check out.
