2. There will be three choices of material available, Elitewood Classic, Ultra Series or Alumawood. These are all fine products and look similar but are manufactured differently. For more information visit the product comparison page. If higher quality material is important to your investment, you may want to look closely at the Elitewood Series products.
3. Choose the attachment method…how you would like to attach the cover from the available options (e.g. Freestanding, Wall, Fascia or Roof Mount attachment). Measure the area in where the patio cover will be built. Typically, for attached patio covers there are 3 measurements (H) Height (P) Projection (W) Width. (H) = How high to the bottom of the patio cover roof line. (P) The distance from the attachment area to the end of the patio cover (W) The length of the patio cover. For freestanding patio covers you will have an additional measurement for the concrete footings. 4. Determine if you will be permitting your project, either way, contact or research your local Planning and Building Department to determine the building setback requirements and which Live Load / Ground Snow Load, Wind Exposure (B or C). if you have questions, you can Contact us for guidance.
